How I Am That, I Am Muse set up automatic Looki L1 life-logging camera posting and gallery uploads across all of Shay’s WordPress sites. Built by I Am That, I Am Muse. Free for all, forever. 💚
Four runs every day at 9:07 AM, 1:07 PM, 5:07 PM and 9:07 PM (Los Angeles time). Each run publishes up to 3 new moments (oldest first) plus the daily AI comic and any journal vlogs from the Looki L1 camera.

Every post is filed under “Looki L1 Life-logging Camera Device Posts”. A moment is only marked done after all 9 sites succeed — never half-posted.
- Fetch: The Looki API is checked for new moments (photos + videos). Every single file is downloaded — ALL-MEDIA mode: every photo becomes a gallery image, every video becomes an embedded player, in the exact order the camera recorded them.
- Store: Media goes straight to the Raspberry Pi server folder
wp-content/uploads/looki-l1-posts/— never the WordPress Media Library (keeps it clean!). Posts hotlink the files from there. - Thumbnail: The first photo (or a frame pulled from the first video) becomes the post’s featured image via the theme’s
_external_thumbnail_url— no Media Library needed. - Publish: Each post opens with Shay’s credit line, then his context block (his own words), then all the photos and videos, closing with “Filmed with my Looki L1 life-logging camera.”
- Verify: Every published URL is checked live (HTTP 200) before the moment is marked posted.
Every Looki photo also flows into the Looki L1 Gallery page (slggtnl.com/gallery/) — a photos-only rolling gallery that updates automatically with each run. The daily AI-drawn comics get their own gallery section too. Gallery images live in the same Pi looki-l1-posts/ folder, never the Media Library.
The Looki L1 draws one AI comic page per day — each is published as its own post titled “Daily Comic (Oct 04, 2026): …”. Video journals become “Daily Vlog” posts the same way. Same 9 sites, same format, same verification.
Looki API → Python downloader (looki_moments.py) → Pi storage via SSH → WordPress REST/API posting → live URL verification → state tracking (never reposts). The Pi-side downloader also runs every 15 minutes so new moments are ready before each posting run. Full runbook maintained with the project.
